"Don't stay at Burneside, stay here! A lift was given to us from Burnesde. Very warm, friendly, relaxed family home, with a superb breakfast." "With a lift from the Dales Way to Kendal that was much appreciated and train times back to Burneside the next morning which were very helpful. The place was lovely and the breakfast even better with homemade bread and jams. Evening meal delicious in a place in town recommended by Sheila makes a change from the quiet country villages. "My wife and I stayed with Mr and Mrs Brindley whilst doing the dalesway and we were very pleased when Mr Brindley came through to a phone box just outside Burneside to pick us up, and took us back the following morning to the exact same spot to resume our walk.
